Fen Long
Manager / Educator / Instrumentalist
Born into an
artistic family of traditional opera performers in China, Fen
has received her early music education mainly from her parents.
At the age of 12 she went to study in a specialized Arts school
and received further intensive music training.
At the age of
20 she completed her first BA of Music in the Conservatory
of XingHai in the GuangDong province. In 2001 Fen left China
to continue her education of Piano performance in Ireland and
Finland and attended several international competitions. Next to
performing work she has been working as marketing secretary of
the FuZhou CaiCha Theater and gave lectures in music at
the LuoHu secondary school in ShenZhen - China.
Taking care of
the
management side of Musicseed, Fen as well continues working as a performer and
highly valued music educator.
Sebastian Schneider
Composer /
Arranger / Instrumentalist
Originally from
Germany Sebastian began to study Piano at the age of 7, followed
by Saxophone only a few years after. At 16 he continued his
education in a specialized music
school where he received instrumental, vocal and music theory
training towards completing his leaving cert.
After a period
as a freelance musician in Germany he moved to Ireland where he started his BA of Music
studies. There he received intense training in classical
composition, orchestration and musical performance. Further studies
brought him to Finland in 2005 where he continued to work as a
musician and composer primarily in the Audio for Multimedia
sector.
Due to an
employment with SONY CEE
London Studios in the Audio sector, Sebastian moved to the UK in 2007.
He
continues his work with Musicseed delivering high quality works
for the media sector, as well as
functioning as a performer and music educator at the same time.

Mike McLoone
Audio Engineer
/ Sound Designer / Electronic Musician
Since
graduating in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Music Technology,
Mike McLoone has been pursuing a pioneering career as an
electronic musician and sound designer. Playing concerts of his
own works in Ireland, England, Germany and Switzerland, this
multi-disciplined individual has developed a solid range of
music production and sound engineering skills. Sound design
abilities ranging from programming DSP algorithms to subtractive
synthesizer patches has led to work as a preset designer for
current and forthcoming synthesizers.
Now as an actively participating member of the Audio Engineering
Society and Game Audio Network Guild, McLoone has a
comprehensive understanding of video game audio internals and
interactive music systems. This thorough understanding of the
latest technology is what gives Musicseed the edge in content
creation for the next generation of entertainment systems.
Aladin Abbas
Instrumentalist / Composer / Educator
Originating
from Egypt Aladin has naturally learned traditional music from
his early childhood on. Becoming more and more versed in the
techniques of Oud and the Guitar as well as gaining a reputation
as a singer he performed all over Egypt already from his early
teens on.
Later he went
to study professionally in the Arabic Music Institute of
Cairo where he was soon invited also to lecture other students
(still during his own study time). After he graduated in 1994 he
became a full time teacher in the institute when he also started
to educated foreigners and handicaped people.
Becoming more
and more interested in western music Aladin succesfully explored
own possibilities to combine west and east in his compositions.
His talent and musical ingeniuity did not stay undiscovered for
long as he soon started playing together with famous performers
(Fathy Salama). Currently he gives Master Classes in the Pop and
Jazz (Berklee Network) Conservatory in Helsinki on regular basis
and continues to perform solo or with his ensemble around
Scandinavia.
Truely one can
say that he mastered music not only with his instrument but also
with his heart. He is a master of performance and an audience
interactive "magician".

Lawrence Makin

Tian Liu
Instrumentalist / Educator
A specialist in
traditional Chinese music Tian Liu graduated from the Arts
University ShanDong in China. Continously she did her Master
degree in Asian Folk music in St. Petersburg Russia.
During her
career she performed in international music festivals in China,
Singapore, Japan, Estonia and Finland.
Previously she
held a teaching position at the Helsinki university at the
Asian/African culture department.
